Kimberly Burnick
Kimberly Burnick is the Director of Sustainable Content & Partnerships at NBCUniversal. Originally from Philadelphia, she moved to Los Angeles to start her career in production before transitioning to sustainability at NBCUniversal in 2016. Kimberly ran the NBCU Sustainable Production Program for many years, overseeing the implementation of sustainable practices on film and TV sets. In 2023, she transitioned her role to launch and oversee the new GreenerLight Program, an initiative focused on embedding sustainability across the entire filmmaking process through development, production and distribution. In addition to enhancing efforts behind the scenes, she partners with creatives, filmmakers, talent, and environmental organizations to engage audiences around sustainability.
