Kady Yellow

Kady Yellow is a creative placemaking expert who holds Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Visual Art - Design from Binghamton University in New York and a Master’s in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans in Louisiana. Yellow is the Vice President of Placemaking at Downtown Vision Inc. Yellow specializes in 'making public space(s) more public' and has led projects throughout the United States, Ireland, Portugal, and Spain and is known for her “resident-driven” practice. Her process is both educational and empowering and results in more vibrant and lively cities . Author of “Murals, Street Art and Graffiti”, Yellow both writes and teaches on the subject matter with a focus on civic entrepreneurship and the creative economy.
