Faryal Khan-Thompson

Faryal is a New York native who loves music, theatre, karaoke, traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She's lived abroad in Pakistan, Barcelona and Hong Kong and loves meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures.

She currently serves as VP of Global Markets, Strategy & Development at independent music label EMPIRE. She previously oversaw Marketing, Community Engagement and International at various music distributors. Faryal specializes in global strategy, marketing operations & revenue growth.

She is passionate about creating a diverse and equitable music ecosystem and creating more opportunities specifically for women, BIPOC and historically disenfranchised communities.
