Diliana Alexander
Diliana Alexander is an international producer, curator, and educator specializing in both immersive and traditional media. In 2012, she co-founded FilmGate Miami, a nonprofit production studio dedicated to fostering innovation and media creation in Florida. She also serves as the Co-Founder and Executive Director of FilmGate Interactive, the first U.S. festival exclusively focused on the impact of emerging technologies on entertainment, education, and mental health.
In 2017, Diliana co-founded the Downtown Media Center, a creative hub for education, research, development, and groundbreaking storytelling. She has produced content for major platforms, including Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Showtime, CBC, HGTV, and TLC, and has been a guest lecturer at Florida International University and Broward College.
Currently, Diliana is curating and producing an immersive dome experience for the Frost Science Museum. She is collaborating with Cosm, Escape Studios, Lucasfilm’s Digital Group, WideWorlds, the Frost Science Museum, and the University of Miami on a cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence educational initiative. This program aims to equip low- and middle-income Florida residents—particularly youth, educators, creative businesses, mental health practitioners, and veterans—with the skills needed to thrive in the evolving digital economy.
