Betsy Marino Leighton

Betsy has worked in the film and television industry for the last twenty-five years. Beginning her career as a Page at NBC, she then went on to work for Scorsese Productions and for Edward Saxon, before producing and directing A Six Voice Home, a PBS feature documentary. Betsy has produced long form reality and other series for Starz, Ovation, Animal Planet, and High Noon Entertainment. In 2014 she co founded Unreal Media which recently sold their first independent horror feature, Apartment 212. Additionally, Betsy now heads Call to Adventure Media, a writer's development company, with partner Liz Keyishian. Betsy has also published a YA novel for Dutton and has recently finished her first adult novel, Progress Notes.
