Monica Dinsmore is the Head of Esports at Electronic Arts (EA), where she oversees the publisher's competitive gaming strategy across a portfolio of leading sports and entertainment franchises, including Apex Legends, EA SPORTS FC, and Madden NFL. Leveraging her background as a marketer, she brings EA's esports content to millions of passionate fans worldwide in an effort to engage core audiences and reacquire lapsed players. Since Dinsmore joined EA in 2021, its esports brands have registered record-breaking viewership and attendance.

Dinsmore has been a prominent figure in esports for nearly a decade. Throughout her career, she has advised international brands Kia, Lexus, USAA, and many more, on their entry into the space. Prior to joining EA, Dinsmore led the award-winning launch of Riot Games’ League of Legends European Championship (LEC). She began her career in finance, where she led strategy and operations leadership positions across global teams at both BlackRock and Niemann Capital,

Dinsmore is a vocal advocate for diversity and inclusion within the esports and gaming community. She actively supports initiatives that promote equal opportunities for aspiring esports athletes and professionals from underrepresented backgrounds. Her efforts include spearheading EA’s Positive Player Award, which recognizes sportspersonship among EA esports competitors.
