Dan Carpenter is a licensed clinical psychologist with 40 years of experience in behavioral health and clinical technology, working in a range of clinical and industry settings. Dan has worked in psychiatric hospitals and was a founding member of a startup company that delivered psychiatry clinical trials and medical education for pharmaceutical sponsors and public sector payers. He has been at Otsuka for 11 years delivering digital innovations and is currently a Senior Director and Product Development Lead for digital therapeutics at Otsuka Precision Health. Dan earned his bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from Guilford College and his master’s and doctorate in clinical psychology from Fordham University. He trained at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Westchester Division in White Plains, NY. Dan served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of clinical operations at Comprehensive Clinical Development, Inc. where he managed a network of Phase I-IV clinical trial sites. He was also a founding member and Chief Information Officer at Comprehensive NeuroScience, Inc., where he led the IT operations and development team. Dan also was a business driver and co-author of the popular ‘Expert Consensus Guideline Series’, a popular series of consensus-based clinical practice guidelines in psychiatry and neurology. Dan has served as the Product Development Lead for Rejoyn from the initiation of the project in 2019. In that role, he coordinates the design control activities interfacing with quality,safety, regulatory, commercial cybersecurity, and privacy subject matter experts and is the main prodcut liasion with the development partner, Click Therapeutics.
