I have 35 years experience as a software developer, company founder and entrepreneur in the technology sector.
I spent 20 years as a video game developer and publisher for a number of top-tier compainies including Acclaim, Virgin, Interplay and Viacom. I currently serve as a non-executive director on the board of several small game development studios in the UK
I have 15 years as a tech company founder. This includes $15Million in seed capital raised and 2 company exits. I am currently involved with 2 technology start-ups in an interim CTO capacity.
I have been/am currently a mentor on several entreprenurial programs in Europe, Aisia and the USA. Most noably these include PixelMill (Games incubation), WYRA (Telefonica technology incubator and Boeings Internal incubation program)
I am Currently providing investor due diligence services (buy side) for merger and acquisitions in Europe and the US. This includes the inspection and reporting of technology innovations developed by start-ups ahead of $10M+ equity investments. These investigations are conducted on behalf of companies such as IBM, Endava, Bain, McKinsey etc.
I frequesntly give university guest lecturer on Innovation, Entreprenurism and Video Game Development. Other public speaking includes keynote conference talks, TEDx sessions and company briefings on technology and innovation.
