Darren Smith is a lecturer in the McCombs Schools of Business at the University of Texas at Austin where he teaches introduction to entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Oklahoma State University in Business Administration with a focus on entrepreneurship. His research is focused on entrepreneurship and ADHD.

Over the past twenty years, he has been an entrepreneur and worked in a variety of industries, including Adobe and IBM, in edtech, insurtech, sports, entertainment, travel, and educational services. He is passionate about driving innovation and empowering entrepreneurs. And he has ADHD.
