Emily Cameron
Emily is a Southern California native who’s been obsessed with story and Television since her days as a young child watching Full House reruns from a box DVD set during Summer vacations while her parents were at work. Her passion for story brought her first to Idyllwild Arts Academy, where she was fortunate to study Creative Writing during her high school years, surrounded by talented, artistic peers and mentors who she greatly admired. She then completed her undergrad at Chapman University with a B.A. in both Screenwriting and French.
She is a fan of all forms of storytelling but obviously has a great passion for film and television. After interning at various studios, production and management companies in college, she knew she did not want to be a filmmaker herself, having found a great love for the business side of entertainment yet still longed to be part of the creative process. Right out of college, she went on to get a job in the Mailroom at Innovative Artists. She was there for only a short month before getting a desk as an assistant in the Literary Department, where she worked closely with TV directors and producers every day.
She fell in love with representation because of her ability to communicate directly with Studio Executives and Producers, communicating their needs to her clients, as well as watching clients' careers grow and take off. She was promoted to Coordinator and then Agent, specializing in a growing roster of TV Directors and Writers. She takes great pride in empowering her clients to be the best versions of themselves as filmmakers and molding artistic sustainable careers that they are proud of.
