Nick Romano
A life-long horror fan, Nick Romano is a Creative Executive at 18Hz, where he is currently working on a slate of features in production and development including Johannes Roberts' PRIMATE in addition to multiple other to-be-announced titles. Previously, he was at New Line Cinema, where he worked with SVP Nikki Ramey and Director of Development Celia Khong, in addition to former Warner Bros. COO Carolyn Blackwood. While at New Line, he supported the team on the development and production of such titles as Steven Soderbergh's KIMI and NO SUDDEN MOVE as well as Hannah Marks' TURTLES ALL THE WAY DOWN. Nick began his career in 2018 at ICM Partners in the mailroom before landing as a motion picture literary assistant to Bryan Diperstein and Harley Copen. Born to a large Italian-American family in Queens, the exec graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.A. in screenwriting. During his time there, he completed multiple development internships with stints at A24, Bleecker Street, Scott Rudin, and Dimension Films. Nick has also served on short film juries for SXSW, Fantasia International Film Festival and Palm Springs International ShortsFest.
