Jennifer Garcia
Jennifer Garcia is a dynamic leader whose exceptional vision and business acumen have propelled her to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) position for the Latino Business Action Network (LBAN). LBAN is a Silicon Valley-based nonprofit and partner of Stanford University with a bold mission of advancing Latino entrepreneurship in the United States. Jennifer has been instrumental in making that mission a reality.
LBAN is the largest and most sophisticated network of Latino and Latina business owners. Under her leadership, LBAN facilitates the Business Scaling Program and the Startup Accelerator at Stanford University, conducts foundational research on Latino-owned businesses, and builds an ecosystem of scaled Latino-owned companies, mentors, capital providers, and corporate partners. Jennifer's vision has enabled entrepreneurs to access capital, public and private contracts, resources, and education.
In addition to her role at LBAN, Jennifer founded Fluential Leadership, a company dedicated to transforming small-to-medium-sized businesses by developing and executing growth strategies. Her portfolio of solutions includes the Stages of Growth Model, Strategy and Innovation Planning, SWOT, psychometric assessments, and communication training.
Prior to LBAN, Jennifer spent over a decade at Bloomberg L.P., where she held numerous leadership positions, including managing the Asset and Investment Management Product Specialist Team and the fixed income and foreign exchange electronic trading teams. Her experience at Bloomberg honed her leadership, strategic planning, and business development skills.
