Allison S. Prasad, Ph.D.
"Allison S. Prasad, Ph.D. is a Principal Technical Program Manager within the Engineering Community at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). In her role, she conducts qualitative and quantitative research with engineers to gain a better understanding of their needs, interests, concerns, and provides recommendations to leadership. Dr. Prasad also leads OCI's Patent program and serves on the Patent Review Committee with Architects, senior engineers, and Patent attorneys to protect Oracle’s intellectual property. In addition, she is Leader of Outreach and Engagement Initiatives for Women of OCI.
Before joining Oracle, she previously worked in the Mayor’s Office in Portland, OR and developed the Core Values- Anti-Racism, Equity, Transparency, Communication, Collaboration, and Fiscal Responsibility for the City of Portland. Dr. Prasad has experience in academia, the science museum industry, and technical writing for NASA.
She was a speaker at Grace Hopper Celebration ’23 and her session was titled, Keep Your Head in the Clouds: (Re)imagining the Journey to a Fortune 100 Tech Company. Dr. Prasad is an AnitaB.org mentor and has participated in Speed Mentoring, Boost Your Influence and Impact, and Executive Presence panels. She was also an invited speaker for Google Tech Equity Collective's Black Genius Academy AMA- The Art of Networking How to Build Bridges to Career Success, According to Oracle's Allison S. Prasad, Ph.D.
Dr. Prasad has moderated panels and discussions throughout her career in academia, government, and technology on diversity, equity, inclusion, sense of belonging, and mentorship."
