Elizabeth Landau
Elizabeth “Liz” Landau has been working with NASA to tell inspiring stories of exploring the cosmos since 2014. At NASA Headquarters in Washington, she contributes her writing and editing expertise to a variety of website, podcast, and video projects. She leads multimedia efforts for the Astrophysics Division and serves as a public affairs officer for the Office of the Chief Scientist. She directed the award-winning NASA+ documentary “Listen to the Universe,” which released in 2024. A former CNN journalist, Liz additionally writes freelance articles for the New York Times, Washington Post, and Quanta Magazine, among others. She is a graduate of Princeton University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. In her spare time, she writes songs about space.
