A passionate advocate for open-ended active play, Stephan has led Stapelstein® to positively impact over 800,000 children across Europe, addressing issues like movement deficiency and fostering creativity. His work is deeply rooted in sustainability, emphasizing the use of eco-friendly, durable materials aligned with universal design principles, and maintaining a steadfast dedication to safeguarding children’s privacy in marketing.

Beyond his entrepreneurial achievements, Stephan’s background includes academic engagements as a Guest Professor at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle. His leadership and design philosophy is shaped by studies in expression semiology with Arno Stern and organizational models inspired by swarm intelligence.
