Kei Shimada
Kei is a Japanese American entrepreneur and innovation leader, CEO of Sirius Technologies, the U.S. arm of ISC Inc., and Chief Business Officer at ISC Inc., Japan’s first startup focused on reusable space vehicles and manned space travel. He specializes in world-first and industry-first projects, including Japan’s national evacuation shelter database, the world’s first AI classical concert (Silver Lion, Cannes), and an award-winning smart speaker (CES Innovation Award).
Previously, Kei was Managing Director at R/GA, a founding member of IBM Japan’s Digital Makers Lab, and Global Innovation Director at Dentsu. A sought-after keynote speaker, he has spoken in over 40 countries and mentors startups at global accelerators.
Kei also supports the Prime Minister’s Office as an official evangelist for the QZSS satellite program. He holds a degree from Waseda University and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
