Rishad Tobaccowala is an author, speaker, teacher, and advisor with four decades of experience helping people, organizations and teams reinvent themselves to remain relevant in changing times. The best-selling author of "Restoring the Soul of Business" (2020, HarperCollins), Rishad will publish his next book, "Re-Thinking Work," with HarperCollins in February 2025. His weekly thought-letter, “The Future Does Not Fit in the Containers of the Past,” is read by over 30,000 leaders globally. He is also the host of the "What Next?" podcast. A thought leader and futurist, Rishad frequently speaks on change, future trends and workforce transformation. He advises a range of Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 executives and global firms, including Publicis Groupe, where he spent 40 years, most recently as Global Chief Strategist and Growth Officer. He serves on the boards for LoopMe, Qualsights, Journey, Dumbstruck, and Shift Paradigm. A pioneer in digital marketing, Rishad has worked across every area of marketing and strategy, and helped launch one of the first interactive groups and digital agencies. BusinessWeek named him one of the top business leaders for his pioneering innovation, and TIME magazine dubbed him one of five “Marketing Innovators.” He is actively involved with the University of Chicago, where he earned his MBA, and with Northwestern University, frequently guest lecturing at both. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Bombay.
