Nien-hê Hsieh
I research business and economic ethics, and direct the required MBA course on managerial and corporate responsibility at HBS. At Harvard University, I serve as a Director for the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, and on the Faculty Committees for the Scholars at Risk Program and the Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Ethics. Previously, I taught at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and am past president of the Society for Business Ethics. I received a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University, an M.Phil. in Politics from Oxford University, and a B.A. in Economics and Politics from Swarthmore College. I aim to help business leaders, organizations, and institutions determine and deliver on their responsibilities in pursuit of an ethical economy.
