Katharina Bottenberg

After 9 years of working as an attorney-at-law at large corporate law firms, assisting fast growing scale-ups as well as private equity investors, Katharina joined Tony’s Chocolonely, eager to contribute to their impact in cocoa. Responsible for all things legal, securing and preserving Tony’s assets, brands, reputation and integrity, she spends most of her days conducting negotiations and providing legal advice on whatever comes up – or might come up. She’s basically a chocolate-loving, EU-focused, law-driven fortune teller. But others might describe her as Tony’s kick-ass Legal Counsel. She’ll accept both. From assessing risks to taking ’em, Katharina likes to swap lawsuits for a wet suit whenever she can, making waves inside Tony’s and out.
