Norah is a Kenyan Mechanical Engineer and Renewable Energy Expert with 9 years of experience in off-grid technologies. She co-founded Cool Green Campaign, promoting sustainability in Kenyan schools, and is CEO of Drop Access, providing energy solutions for rural communities. Her notable innovation, VacciBox, is a portable solar-powered healthcare refrigerator serving over 100 rural communities in Kenya. Norah is a 2024 TED Fellow and has received numerous awards, including the Africa Prize by the Royal Academy of Engineers, UK. She sits on the Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition, reporting to the UN Secretary General. Norah's work focuses on energy access, sustainability, and gender inclusion in Africa, bridging technology gaps underserved areas.
