Alivia Chapla
Alivia Chapla is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Astrobotic, a private space robotics company that, in 2024, launched the U.S.’s first mission to the Moon since NASA’s Apollo program. Alivia played a key role in the company’s Peregrine Mission One when the spacecraft faced propulsion challenges and her crisis plans effectively set “a new standard for public communications and transparency in the space industry”. During Alivia’s tenure at Astrobotic, she has overseen media relations, crisis management, and public relations, landing Astrobotic’s first solo features in TIME Magazine and Wall Street Journal. She hosted the company’s debut on NASA TV and spearheads the public presentation of mission launches and press conferences, aligning efforts with Astrobotic’s mission.
