Duncan Trussell
Duncan Trussell is an actor, stand-up comic, and writer, best known for his podcast The Duncan Trussell Family Hour. Born in North Carolina, he graduated with a psychology degree from Warren Wilson College. After moving to LA, he started performing stand-up at The Comedy Store, catching the eye of Joe Rogan, leading to a role on Joe Rogan Questions Everything.
In 2012, Duncan launched DTFH, focusing on spirituality, consciousness, psychedelics, and comedy. The podcast, now with over 600 episodes and an average of a million downloads per month, provided the inspiration for The Midnight Gospel, the critically-acclaimed series he co-created with Pendleton Ward (creator of Adventure Time), which was produced and animated by Titmouse for Netflix.
