Jennie Rogerson is Canva’s Global Head of People. Launched in 2013, Canva is an online design and visual communication platform with a mission to empower everyone in the world to design anything and publish anywhere.
Just a decade into its journey, Canva has become a global powerhouse changing the way the world designs. More than 220 million people (including 95% of the Fortune 500) use the platform to create more than 300 designs every second.
Jennie joined Canva in 2019, working closely with the co-founders as their first Leadership Operations hire where she built the operational infrastructure behind the design giant. Today, Jennie leads Canva’s People Group and oversees a global team of 500 people who come together to dream up Canva’s unique team experience; from recruitment to alumni and everything in between. Jennie has scaled Canva's culture globally through a simple two-step plan: make Canva one of the most valuable companies in the world and do the most good we can.
As visual communication has become increasingly critical at work, Jennie has built and embedded a “Customer Zero” mindset across Canva. By empowering a team of 5,000 people to road test Canva’s visual AI products before being released to 220M monthly users has, Jennie and Canva have cultivated a purpose-driven workplace, evidenced by Fast Company naming Canva the #1 Best Workplace for Innovators and 94% of employees stating they’re proud to work at Canva.
