Jamie Paik

Jamie Paik is the Director and Founder of the Reconfigurable Robotics Lab at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL). She is a pioneer in soft robotics and self-morphing Robogami (robotic origami), with applications spanning medical, automotive, space, and wearable robots. Jamie's innovative technology has been featured in renowned journals such as Soft Robotics Journal, IEEE Transactions in Robotics, Nature, and Science. She co-founded the start-up Foldaway-Haptics and her work was showcased at TED 2019 and in Mercedes's 2020 concept car, Avatar. Additionally, her start-up MIROS presented its reconfigurable space-optimizing platforms at CES 2022 and CES 2023.
