Alison Snyder

Alison Snyder is a managing editor at Axios. She is a scientist-turned-journalist, overseeing the newsroom's science, health and world coverage, and authors the weekly Axios Science newsletter.

Previously, she was executive producer at The Washington Post, overseeing the editorial team for “Washington Post Live.” Alison’s work has also appeared in The Daily Beast, Scientific American, The Scientist, and The Lancet. She graduated from MIT with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and received master’s degrees in botany from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand and in journalism from New York University.
