Maria Curry-Nkansah

Dr. Curry-Nkansah serves as Strategic lead for NREL’s Circular Economy for Advanced Energy Materials. She’s responsible for planning and implementation for projects that promote a closed loop system for recovery and reuse of critical materials, components and devices for low carbon technologies. She also serves as the Chief Diversity Officer for EPIXC (Electrification of Processes for Industry without Carbon), the newest Manufacturing USA institute. Prior to NREL, Maria spent six years as COO for Argonne National Laboratory, Physical Sciences and Engineering Directorate. She participated in R&D, product development and business development management for British Petroleum (BP).
