Jean Ellen Cowgill

Jean Ellen Cowgill is the co-founder of Portrait. Portrait connects a vetted community of filmmakers, department heads, funders, distributors, and more. Previously, she was General Manager of Bloomberg’s social and streaming news network and Global Head of New Ventures. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Jean Ellen was the president of Atlantic 57, the consulting and creative agency of The Atlantic, which she launched and built to help clients evolve their own content strategy and operations. She also led Atlantic Media’s corporate strategy efforts, managing the
company’s growth portfolio.
