Francisco Lasta, OTR/L, Assoc. AIA
Francisco isn't just passionate about inclusive design; he's redefining the blueprint. With an unconventional background as an occupational therapist, he bridges the worlds of occupational science and architecture. His clinical experience working with people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds allows him to collaborate with architects and designers to create spaces that genuinely serve everyone. His expertise in human-centered design and UX means he’s not just focused on functionality—he’s dedicated to creating environments where people feel truly at home.
Francisco is spearheading his firm’s Inclusive Design Guidelines and creating pathways for OT students to bring their skills into architecture. Adding a creative edge, he's also trained in improv at The Second City Training Center, bringing a fresh, adaptable, and people-centered approach to every project.
