Niel Sandfort

Niel leads the talented group of R&D and NPD professionals at Chobani. The journey from startup to the largest yogurt brand in the US has offered Niel the unique experience over the past decade of working through different life stages of the brand and deeply across the entire organization. This broad view allows for a holistic approach to innovation, connecting manufacturing and R&D capabilities with consumer and customer needs. Niel and his team work with the incredible people at Chobani to create the product strategy, develop the food and pack, commercialize and manage live products ongoing with top and bottom line P&L leadership. All done in an agile and highly cross-functional, direct communication approach. Niel grew up around family dairy, which cultivated his for farming.
