Erika Augustine

Erika Augustine is the founding Executive Director of The David Prize, an annual $1M no-strings-attached award for five extraordinary individuals making New York City a better, brighter place. In the first five years, the Prize has invested over $6.25M directly into the hands of New Yorkers across sectors and systems. Erika previously was a manager at the Global Development Incubator focused on early stage investment in emerging markets, was on the founding team of Blue Ridge Labs @ Robin Hood Foundation, and served as a consultant for United Nations Population Fund. She holds a BA and an MPA from New York University. She is an advisor to Atypical Ventures, a venture fund investing in early stage plausible science fiction companies.
