Felipe Parages

Felipe is a seasoned data scientist and AI engineer. Originally from Madrid, Spain, he moved to the US in 2010, earning his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, with a focus on computer vision for medical diagnostics. After several years developing AI predictive models for industrial applications at a leading SaaS platform in Chicago, he transitioned to professional services, leading the development of custom AI solutions for several Fortune 500 companies. In 2023, Felipe launched his own data science practice and co-founded the MLaaS company QuickBench. He is currently Head of Data Science for GridFinder, where he focuses on enhancing fan engagement by measuring driver performance in both real and sim-racing. He lives in Austin with his wife and two kids.
