Erin Thornton
Erin specializes in the nexus between policy and public engagement with a focus on global health, women and girls and international development. She leads much of WRTHY’s advocacy-led client work, including champion building work in Kenya, Nigeria and globally for women’s economic power. Prior to WRTHY, Erin co-founded Every Mother Counts (EMC) alongside Christy Turlington Burns and served as founding Executive Director until 2015. Before that, Erin was the founding Global Policy Director for DATA and continued to serve in this capacity for ONE. Erin helped establish ONE as a critical bridge between policymakers and the public and developed ONE's influencer trips and education approach. Erin is a fellow at Babson College and serves as an advisor for grad students at Brandeis University.
