Marco Bonici
Dr. Marco Bonici was born and raised in northern Italy. From a young age he has set his goals on being an observational cosmologist, focusing on what galaxies can tell us about the full (that is dark) contents of the universe. While his formal schooling was in Italy, he has traveled the world in to develop skills and collaborations to reach his life’s goals. He spent several months visiting the University of California Berkeley, establishing deep connections with researchers at this institution and is currently PostDoctoral Fellow at Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics in Canada, and working in the cosmological analysis teams of both the Euclid and other ongoing galaxy surveys. He has passion for both cosmology and addressing climate change.
