Elin Wieslander

Elin Wieslander is the AI Editor at Aftonbladet, the largest newspaper in the Nordic region. Since fall 2023, she has been part of Aftonbladet's AI hub, a team dedicated to experimenting with and implementing AI solutions in the daily work in the newsroom – developing editorial tools as well as finding new ways to report the news.

Within the AI hub, she has played a key role in training hundreds of colleagues and in the creation of an AI chatbot for the EU elections. The hub also developed the "AI Buffet," a collection of AI tools to help journalists understand AI's potential.

She firmly believes in close collaboration between tech/product and editorial teams to navigate the AI revolution effectively – and she knows how to bring traditionally conservative journalists on board.
