Nace Desanders
Nace DeSanders is a versatile afro-surrealist horror filmmaker, acclaimed for her roles as writer, director, and producer. Her portfolio features celebrated short films like Infatuation, The Wounded and the Watcher, and Hello Sickness. Currently developing her debut feature, Dance of the Demon, Nace studied through the Destroy All Boundaries horror directing mentorship and the Unlock Her Potential program with Kelvin Harrison Jr. She also served as operations director at a film production company and contributed significantly to a burgeoning streaming platform. Nace enhances the festival circuit as a respected consultant, offering jury and programming services, and masterclasses. She currently works with the Queer Women of Color Film Festival.
