Jessica Daniels is an Emmy and Artios Award-winning casting director and proud native New Yorker. SXSW highlights include A ViIGILANTE and THE STRANGE ONES (Grand Jury Prize to Breakout Actor James Freedson Jackson). Additional film credits include LUCKY GRANDMA, as well as Sundance favorites MASTER, THE 40-YEAR-OLD VERSION (Grand Jury Prize for Directing, Artios Award for Best Comedy Film Casting), SELAH & THE SPADES, THE MISEDUCATION OF CAMERON POST (Grand Jury Prize Winner), TYREL, ROXANNE ROXANNE (Grand Jury Prize to Breakout Actor Chanté Adams), WIENER-DOG, WHITE GIRL, and NASTY BABY.
Jessica’s television credits include WILL TRENT (ABC), DYING FOR SEX (FX), DEADBEAT (Hulu, Artios Award), HELPSTERS (Apple), BENDERS (IFC), THE CARRIE DIARIES (CW), and 30 ROCK (NBC, Emmy Award). As Vice President of Casting at Walt Disney Television Studios from 2019 to 2023, and casting exclusively for 20th Century Fox Television during pilot season since 2014, Jessica played a pivotal role in shaping standout series such as BLACK CAKE, THE DROPOUT, THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY, NATIONAL TREASURE, GENIUS: EINSTEIN, TYRANT, LIFE IN PIECES, TALES FROM THE LOOP, FRESH OFF THE BOAT, and AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE VS.
