Tim Balz is an award-winning engineer dedicated to enhancing mobility technologies for people with disabilities. After working on high profile projects for SpaceX, Balz founded Kalogon to address seated comfort and to ensure everyone lives an active, seated life. At Kalogon, he focuses on creating products that redefine care for wheelchair users, emphasizing continuous improvement through customer feedback. When he's not inventing high tech solutions, Balz is giving underserved communities access to modern wheelchair technologies for free as part of his nonprofit, Freedom Chairs.
