Stacy Feuer

As Senior Vice President of the ESRB’s Privacy Certified program, Stacy helps leading companies in the video game and toy industries implement responsible and transparent privacy practices that comply with U.S. laws and global best practices. She provides practical, actionable guidance to member companies navigating the complex and ever-evolving landscape of privacy regulations and related digital consumer protection and online safety laws. Stacy oversees the ESRB’s privacy certifications, including its highly regarded “Kids Certified” seal—an FTC-approved Safe Harbor program under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the U.S. law designed to protect children and their personal data online.

Before joining the ESRB, Stacy spent over two decades at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), focusing on privacy, advertising, and internet issues at the intersection of consumer protection and digital technologies. As Assistant Director for International Consumer Protection, she developed expertise on the global stage, representing the United States in international policy discussions at the OECD and other organizations and collaborating with foreign regulators on high-profile privacy investigations and enforcement efforts.

Stacy’s legal career also includes experience as a partner at an international litigation firm and a clerkship with a federal district court judge. She holds CIPP/US and CIPP/E certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, highlighting her sophisticated understanding of the U.S. and European privacy and data governance landscape.
