William Swan

Professor Will Swan is the Director of Energy House Labs, a research unit dedicated to energy efficiency and net zero in residential housing and home to the world-leading Energy House 1 and Energy House 2.0, which tests whole buildings under controlled conditions. Her has undertaken a wide range of work with the team on new build and retrofit housing, with projects looking at building performance, energy systems and digital. He has held a number of UK policy roles, including the National Energy Efficiency Taskforce. The work of Energy House Labs has been reported in global media including the BBC, CBS, AP, the Times and Guardian, as well as being used as the basis for UK national government advice.
