Jim Donnelly

Jim Donnelly joined the ranks at Universal Television in 2015 and has since been instrumental in the development of the studio’s dynamic comedy slate, shepherding award-winning and fan-favorite series for a variety of broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Donnelly and his team support a slate of ambitious storytellers, including Tina Fey, Michael Schur, Nahnatchka Khan, Amy Poehler, Dan Goor, Michael Che, Justin Spitzer, Larry Wilmore and more. He has developed several Emmy® Award-winning series, including “Hacks” (Max) and “Russian Doll” (Netflix), as well as the critically lauded and commercially successful "A Man on the Inside" (Netflix), “Never Have I Ever” (Netflix), “Little America” (Apple TV+), “Loot” (Apple TV+) and “The Good Place” (NBC).
