Numa Dhamani

Numa Dhamani is the Head of Machine Learning at iVerify, an All Tech is Human affiliate, and an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University. She is a natural language processing expert with domain expertise in trust, safety, and security. Numa is the co-author of Introduction to Generative AI, and her work on combating online disinformation has been published in the New York Times and the Washington Post. She has served as the Principal Investigator on the United States Department of Defense’s research programs, been a fellow at the Information Society Project at Yale Law School, and contributed to the first-ever international study on hate speech with the University of Houston. Numa holds degrees in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.
