Christina Catherine Martinez

Christina Catherine Martinez is "a fascinating hybrid standup who walks the line somewhere between traditional comedy, modern clown, and performance artist" (PBS). After a successful career in art criticism, Christina pivoted to comedy and has since been named both a Comic to Watch by TimeOutLA and A Comedian You Should Know by Vulture. Her writing continues to appear in outlets such as Bookforum and The Los Angeles Times. She's written for the Eric Andre Show as well as the animated series Women Wearing Shoulder Pads on Adult Swim. Her 2024 comedy special "How to Bake a Bake in the Digital Age" was named A Special You Should Definitely Watch by New York Magazine.
