Jess is a social impact leader, certified Emotion Code Practitioner, Body Code trainee, and the Founder & CEO of Netwalking® LLC. She combines ADA-accessible networking with emotional alignment to help professionals and teams prepare for high-impact events like SXSW. With 14 years of experience at SXSW, including 10 as a speaker, Jess helps attendees and teams clear emotional blocks, optimize energy, and prepare strategically for authentic, impactful experiences.

Jess believes in being intentional with time at events—it's not about attending everything but focusing on the right interactions that align with personal and organizational goals and mission. She guides individuals and teams through pre-event planning, ensuring they prioritize meaningful connections and navigate events with purpose, leading to lasting impact and collaboration.

With a career rooted in financial operations and resource management, Jess holds a B.S. in Business Management and certifications in Walkable Urban Development & Place Management and Project Management (PMP). She also integrates AI into event planning to optimize experiences. Jess has helped clients across industries—including SXSW, Microsoft, the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Capital Chapter, and Epicenter Stockholm—prepare mentally, emotionally, and logistically for successful events.

Known for creating Netwalking events, Jess designs tailored ADA-accessible walking maps that guide participants and teams through networking and event navigation, ensuring they make authentic connections. As co-founder of Beyond2ndNature, she advanced accessibility in Austin through the Austin Pedestrian Advisory Council and WalkAustin coalition. Jess also serves as a D.C. Commissioner on the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Commission and previously served as a Commissioner with the D.C. Mayor's Office of Women's Policy and D.C. Pedestrian Advisory Council.
