Hillary Schieve

Hillary L. Schieve was elected as Reno’s Mayor in 2014, previously serving as an At-Large Reno City Council Member since 2012. As an owner and operator of two business in the City of Reno, Hillary was inspired to run for office while creating a downtown district with other small business owners who were experiencing the bureaucratic red tape. Since being elected, Schieve was named in Politico Magazine’s “America’s 11 Most Interesting Mayors” article. Schieve grew up in Reno, was a competitive figure skater, and is a strong advocate for organ donation and mental health.
