Josh Sackman is the President and Cofounder of AppliedVR, a company pioneering immersive therapeutics—a new category of medicine leveraging virtual reality. Motivated by his childhood chronic pain, he aimed to create positive change in the healthcare industry. Before founding AppliedVR, he scaled consumer health businesses from $30M to $600M. AppliedVR's RelieVRx became the first immersive medical device to achieve FDA de novo authorization and CMS coding/payment for a VR-based, prescription therapeutic for chronic low back pain.
