Steve Vassallo

Steve Vassallo, General Partner at Foundation Capital, leads investments at the intersection of design, technology, and business. With 80+ startup investments, including Stripe and Sunrun, his portfolio spans enterprise, fintech, frontier tech, and crypto. Starting as a design engineer at IDEO, Steve later ran engineering and product at successful startups. He holds 77 patents and numerous design awards.
