SHP’s mission is to educate + empower youth + adults to prevent violence in schools, homes + communities. Creators of the life-saving, evidence-informed “Know the Signs” prevention programs, SHP advances school safety, youth mental health + responsible gun ownership through nonpartisan policy. SHP is led by family members whose loved ones were killed in the tragic mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary on 12/14/2012
