Working to Solve our Loneliness Epidemic
Despite growing awareness about the loneliness epidemic in the United States, and the negative effects of employee disengagement, the problems persist.
A key myth of employee loneliness - that it can be solved simply by in-person work, for example - have induced organizations to adopt back-to-work policies that are unlikely to help on their own, and might even backfire.
To root out loneliness and build social connections, companies must take a series of steps which we will review in detail in this session, from measurement to action.
