For a century, much of vehicle engineering was about masking sounds. In the EV revolution and its absence of internal combustion engines, vehicle engineers are challenged with bringing sounds back. But what should that sound like? And how do we get used to new sounds? This session will cover the art and science behind creating EV sounds as well as the societal expectations for vehicle sounds.
