Innovating Democracy: New Ways To Power The People
Americans are divided, with trust in government and democratic institutions at historic lows. We're stuck, unable to agree on solutions to big problems. Innovations that bring people together outside political echo chambers offer a practical path forward. This panel will delve into how digital tools can foster community, how citizen assemblies can tackle divisive issues, and how recent psychology research can help us find common ground in our neighborhoods, businesses, and society. These are implementable, real-world strategies for rebuilding our ability to solve problems together and reshaping our experience of democracy.
